Is Liquor Scanner free?
Yes. The app is free to download and comparing prices costs nothing. If you order, you pay the store's price plus any delivery fee and a small card fee, all shown before you pay. Prices are in New Zealand dollars and include GST.
Can I order from any of the 14 chains?
Not yet. You can compare prices across all 14, but orders go to Counties Inn Liquor Centre in Pukekohe, the licensed store that sells through the app. Products it stocks have an Add to cart button.
How up to date are the prices?
They're collected from each chain's website and refreshed regularly. In-store specials and price changes during the day may not show yet, so treat other chains' prices as a guide. The price you pay when ordering is the one at checkout.
Where do you deliver?
Around Pukekohe, to addresses in the store's delivery area. The app tells you at checkout whether your address is covered. Pickup from the store is always free.
What if the store can't fill my order?
It's cancelled and you're refunded in full, automatically. Refunds usually reach your card in 3 to 10 business days. More on the refunds page.
Is there an Android app?
It's being built now. For the moment Liquor Scanner is on iPhone only.
What ID do you accept?
A current New Zealand driver licence, a passport, or a Kiwi Access Card.
